Hand Reflexology

Having a knowledge of hand reflexology is great because how many places can you take your shoes off and do foot reflexology.  Hand reflexology can be done anytime anywhere.  It really isn't difficult.  If you put your hands up straight in front of you with the palms out it reflects the peculiar part of the body, with the thumbs representing the head, that you need to work for a particular problem.  The main thing to remember is that if you hit a sore spot you need to work it really hard because this represent a blockage of your energy and you must open up that blockage.

You begin with firmly poking the tip of each finger a number of times with the nail of the index finger or thumb of your other hand.  Then you press and pull on the webs between the fingers.  Both of these actions are to help your sinuses.

Then press all of your fingers, with the index finger and thumb, first top and bottom then on the sides.  Next you work your glands by pressing and rolling over the pads of your thumbs and the middle of your palms.

The stomach is represented by the fleshy part of your palm just below your thumb and if you trail along just above your wrist is the representation of your intestines.  These should be press and rolled also.  After that just continue to press and roll over the rest of the palm of your hand. Be careful you don't press too hard in the fleshy part about one inch below your little finger on your left hand because this represents your heart and you must be careful not to send too much energy to your heart.

Once the inside of your hands have been done then you need to do the back of your hand continuing with the press and roll.

Continue up your arms with the back of the arm on the sides representing your reproductive system with the center up the back representing your backbone.  Once again press and roll.

Be sure you do both hands.  I think you will be surprised at how quick you can become at doing your hands.  Once you start doing this all the time your health will improve and you will find less sore spots to work on and so it can be done quickly.  The best thing is to continue doing your hands the rest of your life especially since it is so easy.

Doing the tips of your fingers and webs of your hand work amazingly well for your sinuses.  I have seen people with colds and their noses are running like faucets have this clear up shortly after doing their hands.

I have found that if I feel a cold sore coming on, with the tingling and tightness, I keep pressing on the end of the fingers associated with the side where the cold sore is appearing and it just goes away and doesn't appear.

If you feel you have a health problem (like an ear infection) you can just keep searching the particular part of the hand where it is sore and continue to work it with the press and roll on and off for awhile until the problem clears up.  It is interesting to see that if you check the same place on the other hand, where the other ear is represented that is not infected, it won't be sore.

Remember you don't really need a map of the hand.  As long as you have a general idea of the relationships, finding the sore spots will let you know you are working your problem.
